Stan is an aging lamb farmer that's at odds with life and out of hope. During a meteor tornado a strange female alien shows up on his ranch, she seems shed. As they try to recognize each other a bond is created and Stan shows Voyager concerning what it is to be human. When the confesses her actual reason for going to Planet, their destiny and Stan's is sealed.
