Taggart: A womans body is dredged from the Clyde, her face deliberately disfigured. Her wrists are bound by climbing rope, and the weapon might have beeb an ice pick. Taggarts investigation starts with the North Face Club, but soon he and Jardine are heading for the highlands and a case which assumes an international dimension.
