As the adorable Buffy in the hit 1960s sitcom Family Affair Anissa Jones was the most famous child star of her generation. But on August 28th 1976 she died at a friend's house in Oceanside, California. She was only 18 years old. A photograph taken at the beach the previous day showed her in good physical shape.
